I hate wind!

On my ride today I believe I saw my first glimpse of Purgatory...

No matter which direction I went, no matter how many turns I took, no matter how many times I screamed obcenities the stupid wind was in my face, pushing at me and making my attempt to reach my goal of Pataskala.

By the way...I hate Pataskala. It is a tiny little town with a restauraunt called the "Nutcracker" a Chevy dealership and a Donatos. And that's it.

But it is a great stop on my bike training. So I go there as a stop on my eventual goal of Newark by end of summer.

If ANYTHING personifies my life recently it is the ride today. No matter WHAT I do it is wrong and I am hitting resistance. How about you? You ever feel that?

I just met a friend who I am helping start in the automotive sales field. This is the not his first choice. But who today is doing exactly what they want. Today we are learning to make adjustments. We are all learning to find the path. Just don't forget...

God NEVER, not once said that he will make our life easy. He said if you "follow me" you will suffer and it will be tough. When the wind is at our back ENJOY the rest but realize that IT WON'T LAST.

Just keep your eyes on your goal, keep your faith in God to guide you and learn to love the wind in your face.
