A day in the Park

After months of feeling sorry for myself and nearly tearing my family apart in the process I woke up to find out that there is nothing more important then family.

I read the book of Job. Very revealing. Job wound up being a pawn in a battle between Satan and God. Gos saw Job as the archtyple man...( Righteous and upright.) Satan saw Job as the perfefct example that even the best human can be turned against God if you make him suffer enough.

God told Satan "Have at him. Just don't take his life."

So Satan set his sights on Job, taking his crops, his family and his health. But did Job fail? No.

Job saw this as a test he could not pass because he saw himself as not strong enough to keep going. But pass he did.

"Do we praise God in the good times? Then why not praise him in the bad?"

It took the bible to wake me up...and a wife that made me see what I was missing.

I have been an insufferable ass lately. I apologize to everyone. It is all good. All will be fine.

Just trust in God. And a day with your kids squishing muck between your toes...
